2007/01/22 Gerard Way elegido mejor cantante por LOKANuestro Gerard Way ha sido elegido mejor cantante por la revista LOKA. Nos dicen lo que ya sabemos, que nos conquista por su desgarradora voz, su presencia y por ser un verdadero showman. En el número de febrero han decidido abrir una batalla entre nuestro Gerard y el también maravilloso Billie Joe Armstrong de Green Day, así que si nos piden que votemos ya sabeis lo que teneis que hacer, y sino, pues bueno, para gustos los colores, a mí particularmente me encanta Billie Joe, y aunque ahora está mucho mas guapo de lo que lo ha estado nunca, creo que su época pasó, y ahora hemos de delegar la hegemonía absoluta en Gerard Way. Hola a todos. Dejo esto escrito para todos los que amais los animales y para los que aun no habeis descubierto lo maravilloso de su compañía. Tras la campaña de navidad y un breve tiempo de colmación de los nervios, desgraciadamente muchos de los que regalaron cualquier animal, sobretodo cachorros de gatos y perros, y empiezan también los de hurones, abandonaran a su pequeño en el mejor de los casos en una protectora, y en el peor directamente en la calle o en una carretera, con la demoniaca esperanza de que su vida termine rápidamente. No pensaron el día que lo compraron que el pequeño animal sería un "hijo" mas de la familía, al que cuidar, alimentar, dar cariño y llevar al veterinario, pasear, etc... De algún modo muchos tienen la esperanza de que el animal no tenga necesidades fisiológicas, o se conforme con salir 10 minutos al día y no deje ningún obsequio en la casa. Pues bien, los que pertenecemos a asociaciones y amamos a los animales, tenemos la desgracia de ver en estas fecha la recogida y llegada masiva de pequeños bebés asustados que fueron rechazados en un hogar caprichoso. Es vergonzosa la venta y comercio de animales como se da hoy en día, pasan semanas metidos en un jaula de cristal que apenas llega a un metro cuadrado observados como si fueran una atracción de circo, y en ocasiones adquiridos por gente sin escrúpulos, que lo que quiere en realidad es un peluche que no se mueva cuando no interesa. Además, la mayoría de estos animales, en el intento de reducción de gastos por parte de los intermediarios, vienen de paises del este de europa, y llegan en condiciones innombrables, viajando a oscuras , con frio y calor, sin comida, con parásitos, durante días en pequeñas furgonetas, y muriendo un porcentaje de ellos bastante alto. Este tráfico es el consecuencia del consumismo de animales que hay hoy en día, y mientras cientos de ellos llegan en furgonetas para que un comprador pueda financiar su cachorro por 60€ al mes, los abandonados y desheredados de cariño de años anteriores esperan en albergues, protectoras y por desgracia en perreras unos amos que no siempre llegan. Por favor, para evitar el mal trago tanto de los de venta como de los abandonados hay una solución que está en la mano de todos. ADOPTA UN ANIMAL, rescátalo y dale la familia que espera, y colabora a disminuir el consumismo atroz de estos pequeños compañeros.
